Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the shecancode.net (“Site”) operated by ​​us.                 

This Site is intended to inspire and equip women with the skills and resources to pursue STEM related opportunities.                  

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms         apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.                                                                                                      

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Site Access

As long as these Terms are in effect, we grant you access to use this Site and its services (“Services”) as long as you accept and comply with these terms and applicable laws. To access our additional services that are reserved from the general public, please see “Account”. As of now, use of the Site is free, but a future fee may be charged for certain permissions.

Access For Minors

This Site is intended for use for individuals of all ages. If you are a minor, under the age of 18, you must review and accept these Terms with a parent or legal guardian before using the Site and its services. 

Account

Some of the site’s services are only available to members with an account (“Account”). When creating your Account, you must provide accurate and complete information, including, but not limited to, full name and email address. You are solely responsible and liable for the activity that occurs in your Account or in connection to your Account. Therefore, you must keep your Account password secure. You must notify SCC immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your Account. If you wish to delete your Account you may send an email request to SCC. Your account information can also be made public to other users. 

 

Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for, but are not limited to, the following actions: any changes you make, content you upload, content you share, behavior towards other members and so on. You shall be solely responsible for your User Submissions and the consequences of posting or uploading them. We have complete discretion whether to publish your User Submissions and we reserve the right in our sole discretion and without further notice to you, to monitor, censor, edit, remove, delete, and/or remove any and all Content posted on the Site (including User Submissions) at any time and for any reason. We can not guarantee confidentiality of User Submissions.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that: (a) is deceptive under the consumer protection laws of any jurisdiction; (b) is copyrighted, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights; (c) creates a risk to a person’s safety or health, creates a risk to public safety or health, compromises national security, or interferes with an investigation by law enforcement; (d) impersonates another person; (d) promotes illegal drugs, violates export control laws, relates to illegal gambling, or illegal arms trafficking, or alcohol; (f) is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability, violates any law, or is inappropriate; (g) involves theft or terrorism; or (h) is otherwise malicious or fraudulent. 

Restrictions

You may not: (a) Copy, sell, distribute or modify content from the Site without permission (written or otherwise); (b) Disrupt networks or servers related to the Site; (c) Use automated systems to access the Site; (d) Disable or interfere with security-related features of the Site  (e) Use the Site as a means to cyberbully or harm other members.

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your full name, email address, address, credit card information. If you wish to donate any amount of money digitally through the website (“Donation”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your full name, email address, address, credit card information.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

She Can Code has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that She Can Code shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 10 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Use of the Site after the notice means that you accept those changes.
